Cross-border monitoring action plan

One of the products of the project „Model of cross-border monitoring – innovative ways of obtaining data in the Szczecin Metropolitan Region” implemented with support from the Interreg V A Programme Mecklenburg-Vorpommern / Brandenburg / Poland is an action plan developed jointly by the project partners. The plan is the result of joint working meetings that took place in Szczecin, Greifswald and Eberswalde.

The plan is an element of the implementation of cross-border monitoring and includes both the organization of cross-border conferences and discussions on the current situation and future research directions of the Metropolitan Region, as well as the practical use of the Szczecin Metropolitan Region monitoring model in regional development programming. The plan emphasizes follow-up tasks, budgeting possibilities, thematic scopes and the structure of the future project partnership.

The following project partners took part in the workshops and meetings: Association of the Szczecin Metropolitan Area, Statistical Office Szczecin, Euroregion Pomerania, Regional Planning Association of Vorpommern, Office of the Metropolitan Region of Anklam, Joint Planning Department of Berlin-Brandenburg, Land Brandenburg, Marshal’s Office of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Office of Spatial Planning of the City of Szczecin, Centre for Economic Initiatives, Voivodeship Labour Office, Joint Technical Secretariat of the Interreg VA Programme, Regional Planning Association Uckermark-Barnim. The meeting was co-organized by the Regional Office of Spatial Planning of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
